The Falsehood in Shroud of Turin


One tool of argument to debunk the belief on Shroud of Turin is second commandment of God (Exodus 20:4), which was deleted by Roman Catholicism. Thus, rather than spending too much to resolve the authenticity of the shroud, scientists should ask Pope Francis why Roman Catholicism had erased God’s Words in Catholic practices,  which Words were written by God Himself.

What is the relevance of the second commandment of God to the issue on Shroud of Turin?

The commandment states:

4“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.(Exodus 20:4, NIV)

Notice that Shroud of Turin,which refers to alleged face of Christ, still fall under the definition of prohibited image because somebody, either a human being or super-natural, had obviously made it, to the exclusion of God Himself if you co-relate the verse to Exodus 20:18-22, stating: (more…)
