Pope is not seeking pardon for idolatry?
Just asking…Is Pope Francis not interested in asking pardon for Roman Catholic’s idolatry? This is because he is asking for forgiveness from people who were sexually abused by priests, which is psychologically natural to repentant persons, who committed mortal sin.
Because idolatry is a personal concern of the Pope, being the leader of the Roman Catholics while sexual abuses are personal to offender priests, is it not expected from the Pope to ask for pardon on idolatry instead of sexual abuses, unless he himself had committed the offense of pedophilia?
Also, is it not a fact that the Pope has no concern to ask forgiveness in behalf of priest offenders as his concern is only to give them sanctions to show to the public that his alleged church is indeed a type of spiritually healthy church?
Further, just to test if the Pope is really sincere, is it not proper for the Pope to ask first for forgiveness on idolatry because Roman Catholic’s idolatry is far more older than the sodomy or ‘oral sex‘ mentality of the (more…)
